Andrewe,
Your arguments you justify easily with what perceptions you currently hold of AGM and it's proven nickel resource & reserves. What you do not take into account is what you do not know of AGM. That is the point I and other AGM holders are making in suggesting the $1.00/share is inadequate and opportunistic. Why else would ZFX be making the bid just prior to production commencing,
Nickel7, how can anyone place a value on a company based on what is not known? If there is something material the directors know about Avebury which has not been announced to the market then they are in breah of asx listing rules. If they knew anything that added value to AGM now would be a good time to announce it dont you think???
Its not you that the directors are trying to convince not to sell but the institutions and major shareholders.
Is there information they have that is not held by the market?
I think this is the 'potntial' argument again and potential and $2 will get you a cup of coffee not an extra $200 million on a small mining company.
ZFX are making a bid just prior to production becaus ethey need projects that are about to produce. they have plenty for 4-5years down the track.
cheers
