Okay, I've been assuming (apparently incorrectly) that Dathomir Mining Resources beneficial owners were essentially ultimately Congolese (i.e. essentially that Zoe Kabila could be the beneficial owner) not the Chinese. Assuming what you say is correct that changes things for me. After an election the political opponents of the Kabila's might have gone after Kabila associated companies but I'd agree they are far less likely to go after Dathomir for political purposes if it's owners are ethnically Chinese or especially if its ultimate owner is the Chinese state.

I do recall Columbo whose research I respect suggesting that Dathomir was Chinese recently as well.

Respectfully, how do you know that about Dathomir though (specifically that it is ultimately owned by the chinese)? Is there a way I (and any other readers if interested) can see for ourselves?

I agree with the rest of your post (Klaus and Huayou having track records etc) and thanks for the reply.
