As I have said here before - I think the easiest answer in its simplest form is:- portfolio re-balancing. Those in the know and who have access are possibly selling to crystallize gains in their portfolio's , to reduce overall weighting to the stock and / or sector ......and to acquire ' new ' shares with free attaching options .... in quantity I might add ahead of a possible re- rating ' Mach Deux ' ...... All in my opinion of course , and that is what person(s) , funds and / or Insto's do this time of year......
