The option price that you get for free being above the current price is not a good deal IMO all it does is put a ceiling on the share price for the future.
Where as if the free option was below current price, say 7 cents, it puts a floor under the price.
Why would you care about options now that you have to exercise at 10 cents, when you can pay 7.6 cents for your shares without getting involved in the oppies
