Price action generally pre-empts news. The buying and chart here indicates to me that they will likely close this deal at some point, considering that logic says that this is currently overvalued and should be going the other way. Somebody probably knows something that we don't, unless it is retailers or traders buying in anticipation of news which is also possible. However the size of the parcels bought says to me that it probably isn't retailers. Could be our mates at Cancun? Would be interesting to see broker data if anyone has it. The communication here has been utterly incompetent again though - the contract was never going to get signed in a few days. Why they couldn't have said "by the end of the month", or "in the next few weeks" is beyond me. Once again another case of overpromising and underdelivering. You really would have thought they would have learned their lesson.
