Yes l agree with your comments stoofmcgoof, lm not sure
where linker is coming from but he could not possibly have got the impression/feeling that management would be happy with a takeover, it had entered their minds at board level
and has obviously been discussed at meetings, however they Aliaster showed no enthuisiam at the thought of a takeover,
and l dont believe it a preference of theirs at all.
