TPG don't target the premium end of the market, not sure why anyone would think they will compete directly with Optus and Telstra when first starting out.
Big deal Telstra and Optus will give you unlimited data if you pay 4 times the price!
What about the millions of mobile devices in Aus that don't need this amount of data?
First company to give an ongoing $5 a month plan for about 5 gig of data will have 3 sims sold in my house on day one (no switching providers, all new!), guessing you could times that by a few million before you even have anyone switching providers and let me tell you sir people will be switching as neither Telstra, Optus or Vodafone will target that end of the market as not one of them will have the cost structure to support it.
Fast forward a decade and maybe TPG will take on the big guys, when they do it they will likely win but now would just be suicide IMO.
