For those facing big CGT bills this FY and considering not offloading to delisted in hope of some miracle recapitalisation and gain down the track, the question is - how much would you save in CGT this FY by offloading it to delisted? That is the price you are paying for extremely long shot odds of salvaging something by holding onto your BIG shares.

The next question is what are the alternatives you are forgoing by not making that CGT savings this FY?

Just IMO but I don't see why you would not put the savings made from CGT into other stocks with a real business plan, demonstrated business model (not a fake one propped up by loans for non-paying customers), enough capital to grow their business, a good management team. This looks far better than hanging onto hope with a company in suspension, going through an administration process, an unproven business model that was built on lies and led by a _____. They don't even have a CEO anymore (though no CEO is clearly better than having RE as one).

The point I make is that hope is not a strategy and there is a crapload of opportunities out there.
