Logically yes you are correct, though I still think there will be a couple of people who are selling even though they have have the money available for the options so they ensure their holding stays at x %.
The world is a very illogical place most the time.
The other note is we had a very high percentage of shorts taken out last Thursday and Friday. Once gthey feel there is no more downside momentum they will have to cover the positions its just a matter of when and at what price.
