What an article from Stephen Mayne - somone who has been fairly ruthless and negative in their assessment of MFS in a number of articles.

What should be pointed out about Stephem Mayne is that he is not accurate, a wee bit emotional and omits information (unsure if this is intentional or just through lack of knowledge).

Two articles I've read (links below) highlight his elouquent journalism regarding the MFS Premium Income Fund(PIF).

Next step for PIF holders is to see if their distributions arrive next week given that the processing of their distributions are being processed as normal up to and including today (confirmed 8/2).

Stephen is nearly right on thing - MFS probably won't be around in 2009. They won't be...a name change was flagged some time ago.
