I don't think anyone needs to down ramp MFS - when (if) it reopens for trade as I suspect that there are a huge pile of shares that will be flooding the market - good news or bad - resulting from changes to margin LVR's that occured while it was in a halt.
Now I don't know how banks normally manage this situation. They would have given people a day to change their exposure - but what do you do if the company is in a halt. Particularly if the company has been removed from the register all together.
Would they have forced the holder to pay 100% of the value of the shares - or are the shares queued up for sale on open.
In any case good news or bad - my gut feel is the relist will be savage.
