These plants are very expensive to build, all pipework around claves will be titanium including bolts. The cheap part is buying the clave at $US10M each, the infrastructure aound the clave like Positive Displacement pumps, preheating towers, ore slurry feed tanks to clave, Flash tanks/towers. The agitators and gland water for claves are a little work of art due to the pressure, temp and acidity last two jobs I did on lats the swedish company that supplies the seals for agis the lead guy actually hand built them. The feed and discharge valves inclusive of hydraulic drives are in the 400-500 k mark before installation. The clave and flash tanks are all brick lined which takes time and money. Most other tanks and pipework will be stainless steel or carbon steel fully rubber lined. The acid plant alone will be as a lump sum turnkey in the vicintity of 100-120M.
If you think this is expensive wait till CLQ release theirs, that will be big.
