Thats exactly why i don't use humans, they be a very shifty bunch. I'm a Butcher and we still use pen and paper to add up the items and no-one expects a Butcher to be able to add up anyway, so if we've somehow made an error in our addition theres always a legit excuse. Not sure what excuses you Brokers have.

Also i've got a family full of bean Counters, some better than others though, its not my department so to speak.

I will say though i have for example an IG account and fk me when i first got the account and did some trades i wondered where a big portion of my profits went so i had a little lookie at the charges and fees and interest and god knows what else they can fit on the page and thought wtf ! and rung em up to make sure that was how it was going to be. With a bit of a struggle i came to terms with it because they provide more than just a buy sell service, one does get some value out of the fees and charges with IG.
