I don't know how to look at this just yet. Not that it really matters for me given I am holding options which will almost certainly now expire worthless.
I am leaning towards this being a big positive for View. Extra cash flow is exactly what the company needs, not a lump sum amount of cash that undervalues the project and Views 30% as a whole. This gives View a double income stream and exposure to two metals. What is it they say about putting all your eggs in one basket?
I can see that the lump sum will help the company in the near term in this crisis, but taking a look at the big picture...that extra income over a period of time could be the thing that saves them should they have occasional shortfalls in ore production (gold).
I'm open to any suggestions otherwise. Whats everyones thoughts?
