What a ridiculously short sighted comment. The reason it's expensive here is because we pay for a quality of lifestyle, education, healthcare, minimum wages....the list goes on. Despite the fact we tend to whinge about these services, the quality is very high up the food chain from a global perspective. Far better than the US. We tend to share these traits with other highly desirable places to live, like Scandinavia, and a few other select pockets around the globe, which also happen to be very expensive....surprise surprise.

Why don't you try looking beyond the bonnet of your luxury car and see our great country for what it is.
