the way I look at the world's stock markets, it looks like there won't be a rapid rise like we recently had between last August and November. It's reality time folks, as even the long term investors are sweating. However, movements are slowing so if you sell now cheap, there's plenty out there that's also cheap. It's a good time to clean out the closet and get ready to slowly feed yourself into the better blue chip stocks. The end of the down trend is very much an unknown - could be tomorrow - could be the 2nd half of this year. As the bottom can't be predicted, then all I can say is to gradually buy into great stocks over a period of time, rather than all in one hit. You sell now at a loss, but you also buy a bargain from someone else's loss. Once the market realises that it's been over sold then we should see normality once again. As I said - I don't think there'll be a frenzied rally again as market sentiment is currently set in concrete and it will take more than interest rate cuts to make many see that things aren't that bad. Time will tell. Good luck to all.
