well, im going to take a contrarian point of view, ill think for my self,

as they saying goes, when theirs blood in the streets, whats that saying of buffets,? be greedy blah blah blah,

okay heres my investment case,

fact, 1 ) AMP has been at this share price level since back in 2002, tick,

fact 2) AMP has paid a steady and rising divvy payout year on year, tick,

fact 3) AMP will get its act together in no time at all, people have really short memories, and most cant even see past the end of their own nose, thats how short sighted they really are,

fact 3) im watching AMP, Very very closley, with my finger on the trigger,

im going to buy $100,000.00 of AMP as close to $3.00 as i can,

$100,000.00 divided by $3.00 = 33,333 shares

33,333 shares times my projected 30 cent dividend = $9,999,90

that is a dividend of ten cents of $10 grand in my bank account,

the capital growth on my $100,000.00 should be in the vicinity, of 50-60% which gives me a share price anywhere above $5.00,

the dollar value in capital growth should give me,

$100,000.00 divided by $3.00=33,333 shares,

33,333 shares times $5.00 = $166,666.66

on my $100,000.00 i have made capital growth of $66,000.00

my dividend return is $9,999,90

so i have made, $66,000.00 capital growth + dividend return of $9,999.90

there fore my my $100,000.00 investment in the next 12 months has netted me,

$66,000.00+ $9,99.90= $75,990.00

plus i sell on the ex dividend date, i lock in a capital gain plus a cheque in the bank, and then do it all over again,

my next buy is WES as soon as it gets smashed by 50%, lol

so summary, AMP will a screaming buy, any week now,

btw, keep your eyes open for brokers to put out sell recommendations over the coming 4 weeks,
