In Baha'i teaching, religion and science have a huge overlap in their guidance and exploration. They just describe the same reality using differing language thats all.

As a result, the approaches of religion is scientific in its method.


This conclusion which was really popularised by Descartes, in that there is a duality to reality and to creation is the bane of religion in the face of modern science.

Reality is not two, reality is one.
There is not material "stuff" and spiritual "stuff"

The plant, animal, and human kingdoms are all separated spiritually but exist within the framework of one reality.
