Why do that? Sounds pretty stupid. I dont think you understand how ubiquitous plants and animal fats and plant sugars are already in our lives and how much said biomass is wasted in landfill that could be subjected to gasification used as a gas or subjected to gas to liquid processes. Have a look at "waste to energy" and "biomass gasification" and "gas to liquid". Lithium has an important place but it is too rare and expensive to be a holistic solution.
