That's true, I agree , if the people had not had an absolute gut full of austerity, unemployment / severe underemployment and low wages then they would not have voted for a fascist party. Of course the new government will carry out exactly the same policies as the previous ones, only to a greater degree.
You describe the previous parties as "leftwing / green extremists" but they are definitely not left or extreme. They just implemented the policies of the capitalist class, just like this mob will do. Instead of having fake lefts walking over the top of them, the people will have fascists walking over the top of them.
