That is reasonable....but......the way the Universe evolved does not even suggest special creation because, firstly, the process is self sustaining and self progressing based on the basic physical attributes
But you are completely missing the point. I too agree with all that, or whatever the scientific community tells me they have proven.
The question is, why is it self sustaining?
Why is it self progressing, adding complexity and leading to sentience?
Why and how does it get everything right, and please don't add examples of extinctions and failed species or suns exploding because they too must be essential ingredients to this unstoppable machine of Creation that's purpose seems to me to be to produce beings who can recognise their Maker and thus know the truth of themselves.
How did life emerge from non-life? Is it an aspect of matter? How can sentience arise from evolution alone when evolution does not tolerate excess. The moment there is imbalance it produces forms and pathogens to regain balance very quickly and yet here we are. You are giving the qualities of God to nature, that in the absence of God is absolutely nothingness in the sense that order has never been seen to be an aspect of disorder.
Order was set and established, it is not a phenomina of a nothing doing something. It is inherent in natural order because natural order obeys the command of God. What then God is I have no idea, but we do know enough to know that you only get out what you put in, the energy, life and sentience of a universe must be established in potential before it becomes manifest and that potential is God.
We do not disagree with you on the science and how things came about. I'm just trying to get across to you that without a cognitive force, an Orchestrator, nothing moves. Nature, natural order, natural forces are effects not causes.
That is not to say that there is no Creator, but that there is no evidence for the existence of a Creator.....which would be a far more fantastic thing than the existence of the Universe itself.
There is evidence in every vibrating atom, the evidence is in the totality of physical existance, the words of the Prophets and philosophers, the human creative forces, the human mind, that every culture was built by religious belief, the Creator is immeasurably greater than its Creation, the universe, just as the painting can not be compared to the painter.
You have to be careful not to become marginalised by scientific fundamentalism just as some of our friends on HC hear talking snakes.
