I get a bit sceptical when holy grail is mentioned because I don't think there is such a thing (where renewable energy is concerned).

What I do believe in is that there will be many and varied renewable technologies that will take us forward.

Pumped hydro (with solar and wind) seems a fairly solid bet to be one of them.

I think it really depends on when its windy in Kidston .. they could play well together, obviously hoping its very windy .. keep the pumped hydro full and our energy production at a nice smooth level day and night.
