Sorry Freehold, I am afraid we have to agree to disagree.

It seems ALL investors in AVZ are aware of the depth of intersections of the Manono resource, so I will make the bold assumption that AVZ management were ALSO aware of this and ought to have planned/MANAGED accordingly.

I recall a recent Tesla conference call, where Elon Musk was pressed by an analyst on production delays caused by 3rd party contractors. The question was actually slanted as fishing for whether or not there was any scope for Tesla to sue the third party suppliers for not delivering to specification. Elon's response was along the lines of " .... no, it was Tesla's - no actually - it was MY responsibility for selecting those suppliers in the first place, so that was my bad". He took personal responsibility for the non-performance of 3rd party contractors. That is how it ought to be!

Also, far more destructive in the long term will the issue of performance rights based on short-term share price targets. The day I see clear evidence of AVZ changing their preferred way of inactivation will be the day I am likely to revisit the investment case with a view to adding to my position.

In the meantime, I can not TRUST any upward share price movement as being driven by operational performance as opposed to someone trying to ensure that they collect their performance rights.
