I am not sure you have it right about nano silica vs carbon nanotubes being somehow mutually exclusive.

A 2017 article I was just reading describes CNTs being used together with nano silica, with the actual total nanotube content in concrete being a small fraction of 1% by mass.

A while back someone, I think you, posted a spec sheet that EdenCrete EC contained <5% of CNTs, amorphous silica (nano silica?), Component 1 and Component 2. I opined that stating <5% and using unnamed components was commercial obfuscation on Eden’s part ... and I wouldn’t blame them.

The 2017 article seemed to be discussing nano silica and “dispersion” in the one breath and separately I have read that amorphous silica has an electrostatic charge. Previously I have wondered if amorphous silica plays a role in keeping CNTs in stable long term suspension in EC and ECpz liquid form?

I don’t know the costs of EDE’s CNTs, but I have found silica fume to be something like $900-1000/t in bulk which I think compares to $300/t for Portland cement and $70/t for fly ash. Just as well nanotubes of any form are a fraction of 1% of the mass of concrete.
