I know all that. Okay I have to be careful with words. I know enough to be dangerous about that stuff. I read science daily.
It is not self-explanatory just because we are beginning to understand its properties. Surely it can't just self-generate such properties via good fortune? You don't think there is something other than what our senses record?

That kind of footing is a polar opposite to the Fundamentalist Creationist and his young earth and life just popping up in place. In fact they have a great deal in common as well.
