    What a question.

I am still learning after 30 years.

The techniques are endless, from cycles to suport and resistance to momentum to moving averages and to Fibonnaci, to Gann to Elliott wave to pattern analysis etc etc.

I am sure some here will recommend various books, and each will have their favourite ideas.

I really can't say where to start, only that if you have that sort of mental approach then one will lead to another and it becomes more interesting than the money aspect.

The pure money makers will laugh at that, but we are all different and I and others probably find more satisfaction in a good call than how many dollars were made.

I am sure that was of little help to you, but smelling the roses along the way is more important than reaching the destination.
