At the moment GDY is doing a circulation test. If it is successful, that would be very good for the geothermal sector including PTR. If it is unsuccessful, or there are significant problems, that may also be good for PTR. That is because PTR's HEWI (heat exchange within insulators) model may be lower risk, and may still work if there are problems with a heat exchanger within the granite itself.
I hold both GDY and PTR and hope that GDY's circulation test is successful. Hopefully the exercising of January 31 GDY options by GDY directors is a good sign.
