Roguetrader.. I have a theory on the $40M in costs.

If you needed to get the banks to re-commit to funding you need to demonstrate value.

The $40M is to pay all the "bidders" for their time and effort putting firm offers on the table for the assets.

That demonstrates to the banks what the Centres are worth, and therefore that the debt is covered by assets.

A small investment for the time and trouble of the potential purchasers, paid off by refinancing.
