I wasn't sure how to interpret that comment you refer to. Surely they will have to release the wireline results. Maybe he is referring to any reserve upgrade.
In any event, I do not see the sense from a shareholder value perspective of delaying anything, bearing in mind that appreciation of the SP today (figuritively speaking) has a positive benfit on the merger terms with Anzon. But perhaps they have given up on seeing the SP at or above the $2.05 threshold where the ultimate value is maximised.
