separate company. I think AFG has an AEP holding but the AEP rise is due to what seems like a very dodgy t/o offer. As a cashbox AEP has been trading well below its marked to market monthly net assets (about 5.50) and even its net tangible assets of around 4.00. The 'takeover offer' seems to be from an unknown entity who will 'fund' their offer by selling AEP assets. I formerly held AEP about 15 months ago (at the time of the QAN privatisation bid) but sold after it unravelled.
