Yes, but that dies with OZL going unconditional.
Xerof is correct.
All shares already declared are now OZL's.
I don't believe for one minute there will be a higher offer but if there was it is my understanding that if OZL raises their offer and wins then the original acceptances get that higher price.
However, if say Glencore offered 25c a share and OZL did not match, OZL can sell to Glencore and pocket the difference between 17c and 25c from 45% of the issued capital. Then OZL would be a buy
If you want your money early, you have until Wednesday if you use an overnight delivery facility. If you aren't concerned about time frames there will probably be a 14 day extension when they pass 50.1% next week.
Now who knows a GOOD copper play on the ASX?
PS a possible explanation re Deutsche and Sandgrove. Maybe as a London based fund, Sandgrove cant tip into the offer and are only moving into cfd's to have the interest but Deutsche via Australian holdings allow the play? We will probably see other opportunity funds appear this week. Easy money, no risk, especially if u managed to start collecting in February when AVB was 7c?
