I'm a novice investor and i'm looking mostly at stocks i can hold for the long term. I'm interested in some healthcare and aged care stocks, if I'm comfortable with the price.
When i looked at RHC some of my concerns were:
High debt level
Falling rates of private health care
Increasing premiums for private healthcare
Private health funds setting up their own hospitals
Overseas medical tourism. (Rubbery figures but some estimates of 500,000 Australians in 2017, which will increase)
Their overseas run hospitals (i need to look into them more)
Reading their financials and different opinions about their business + my own concerns about possible avenues of revenue contracting in the private healthcare industry just puts me in the unsure of when/if to buy category
