The whole Super system is a farce. It might seem like a novel idea and in theory sounds ok.
The returns during the last five years are all well and good.
BUT and a Big BUT.............
What happens when the market turns. People's retirements are dicated by the world financial markets...
Mums and dads work all their life, put money away for retirement. Year by year the money increases.
Then BANG, market falls on its ar#e.
Super is a sham, because people retirements can dissapear in a blink of an eye.
Yes you can put your money in Cash instead of shares. But as seen in the USA, the US currency is the mist of the biggest devalutation since USSR currency crashed.
Again mums and dads retirements are slaughtered.
