The market completely overestimates the impact rising rates will have on QBE's share price. You need to dissect the investment portfolio by currency and asset type to get a real feel. The majority of currencies are not USDs...in currencies where rates are not rising as quickly...as well rising rates impact adversely other aspects of the insurance portfolio like claims inflation...so rising rates are not a one way bet for the share price....
