Following the UBS note to its clients, WPL seems up a lot on the basis , CNE seems down a fair bit and FAR up a wee bit.
The implications of that are that CNE would take out WPL's stake or support WPL according to the Technicals IMHO.
Otherwise CNE at 232p makes no sense, WPL at a mighty high $33.48 seems totally mispriced. All the speculative trading suggests WPL will overcome all, CNE will probably survive intact but diminished.
CNE seems the pick of the three IMHO as it never plays out quite like the market or UBS at first thinks. Although UBS likes WPL and dislikes all the other O&Gs on the ASX, WPL seems ready to sell IMHO as the market never gets it completely right but pls DYODD.
