I'm holding because its my first real stock pick and I'm treating it as a hard education in learning to be a value investor. I have intentionally placed enough of own my own skin in the game to hurt but not to harm.

Mean reversion is a powerful force so I am told, and there is definitely "blood on the streets" around this stock. There is an incredible amount of pessimism around retail in general and rfg in particular, and I believe it is priced in. I was also heartened when I discovered my behaviour has been the same as Invesco's although I know institutional investors often get it wrong too.

I bought this stock with the intention of holding and maybe even accumulating it to zero if that is what transpired- although I might reassess that position when the next full year data comes out. I understand that this company may fail and the uncertainty around it is extremely high because of that. I also think that Australia is the second most obese nation in the world, and generally speaking we love our donuts/pizzas/etc.

I may be a budding deep value investor, or a fully fledged fool. Either way I'm using this experience to try to better myself. Thats my reason for holding, I'd be curious to hear from others particularly as the (possibly accurate) doomsaying is so loud in these parts.
