People are not looking at the bigger picture, it is the carbon credits which is where the money is, currently, USA and China are buying all the carbon credits from third world countries like India, and developed country like Hong Kong all the carbon credits they can get a hold off. I know this, because I just come back from a month long trip in the Philipines, and Hong Kong, and their level of "greeness" is way way above Australia. All lights sold in shops are all fluro, energy bulbs, and a few halogens. They recycle ALL plastic, glass, paper, scrap metals by buying all old junks, and strip them of all reuse/recycle parts. Compare to us in Australia, we throw most things away, we recyle only 10% of all paper items. And we cetainly do not have places that buy old junks to strip for parts.

All this green technology, and us in Australia is not using it, it all goes oversea first. Look its good to have an export like advance meters and energy light bulbs, but comeon people do your part and make Australia more green as well. Otherwise, we will be left behind by third world countries like India, and Philipines.
