Dudes, one of the things that you have missed in the extension process is whether the banks imposed restrictions etc on Centro. One could be that it is paying a higher interest rate, which is normal when an extension is provided. others could include sale of properties etc.
The other factor is that if CNP is such a good deal at the moment, why arent we see major funds getting into it.
it seems that the sharp knife is still dropping.
As one poster pointed out, CNP borrowed short on a long term asset and got caught and the leverage used is know 'backfiring' - great in an upward market, bad in a downward market.
While CNP properties will be in demand, whether they recover will depend on whether it is a buyers market. It seems that sentiment is turning, given the US news it may becoming a buyers market given that finance will be difficult to obtain and the a flattening of the US economy.
Good luck to you all, but if you plan to invest in CNP expect a lot of volatility.
