Tiger, I think its great that you came here from Turkey, given I've always been a staunch advocate of migrant battlers. After all, that is the very foundation on which our country was founded. That said, I'm curious as to how you worked as a nurse, given you would need entirely different qualifications to a doctor to do so? Keeping in mind that your medical qualifications were unrecognized at the time - nursing too, if you were qualified overseas. Furthermore, our industrial relations laws would prevent you from working for free in that capacity without said qualifications. Also, how did you qualify for welfare, given its means tested and you had significant savings from working in Europe? Frankly, none of what you say gels with me unless you can explain those questions. Or how you go from welfare to buying four houses in four years. Or how you see yourself going into Australian politics when you are undiplomatic enough to say Aussies complain too much and don't want to work - or something to that effect.
You will find that all hard working migrants are welcome here, and for the most part we appreciate the diversity of cultures they contribute. But you would be wise not to generalize your narrow view of Australians. We humans are all different - the good, the bad and the ugly.
