Hardballgets would love to hear more about your views and experiences in the land of Yanks when time permits please ?

Unfortunately the press is always biased to the negative side but is it really all doom and gloom ? are there vacant shops and offices everywhere ? and are people whinging but still doing ok ?
Many of the profit reports I've read on the big caps just aren't real bad at present although funny mentals aren't my forte and not sure what is .lol

ps; I remember back in 1990 ish in Melbourne it was dam ugly and it only hit home when I lost my job then went to the local shops and the hardware was closed so was my favourite jeans shop amongst many others ! trouble is it's all to late when that has occured .
