Wot, in reply, the thing that really threw me and caused me to reconsider my position ( from when I was holding over 100,ooo G88 shares) was the absence of Ni in bedrock at Anomalies 2 and 3 in the holes that were drilled. I simply can't get my head around the fact that whilst there is an upper cover of saprolite with decent Ni content, no Ni was detected in the underlying bedrock ( assumed by the fact that only trace Cu and Sc were mentioned). Realistically, one might have thought there would have been some measurable Ni if nickel sulphides in bedrock were the source of Ni in the saprolite. When I took into consideration that other large Nickel bearing saprolite discoveries ( CLQ for example) also appear to have no association with underlying nickel sulphides, but rather are likely due to the weathering of ultramafic rock to form saprolite with supergene nickel, I formed the view that the chances of significant nickel sulphide being present at Quicksilver had diminished somewhat. Granted, the saprolite body as a standalone resource could be very valuable.
