Virtus, actually I'm a retired Metallurgist but not a Geo. I suppose you could call me an armchair Geo. But having said that I do have a long and abiding interest in geo matters over a 3o year period, however I do not claim to be expert in such matters, just a guy who weighs up the pros and cons when announcements are made, and mixes it with a combination of experiences trading and investing in junior explorers ( good and bad experiences like most) plus a dose of intuition and some cynicism at times !! Having said that I can and still do fall flat on my face at times.

I can see the funny side of things in trading ASX speccy stocks and for that matter even "non-speccy" stocks. Attached to my screen I have a piece of paper which reminds me daily that when trading/investing we operate in a "murky swamp" ( the ASX) which is inhabited by various species, some of which being pump and dumpers, tree shakers, buy/sell queue stackers, cappers/accumulators, bots, T+2r's, window dressers, insiders.... plus I daresay other as yet unidentified species. Its a fun place to be sure!
