That’s where the argument is just opinions, as nobody knows what the rates were 50 years ago because it hadn’t been diagnosed yet. Same with those other conditions I listed, so there’s no comparison. If it ever got anywhere near 1 in 10 then there’s clearly a problem, but that’s just an alarmist number with no basis. The stats just weren’t there years ago. The Mona Lisa is suspected of suffering from breast cancer, but she would’ve been none the wiser, that doesn’t mean breast cancer was any less common than it is now.
