With a proven track record providing a platform to such a wide range of media companies, the question arises, why did Indosat go with an unknown company rather than an well-established one (Accedo) in this space? Cost and/or exclusive contracts are the two factors that come to mind. As an aside, I hear reports of Optus customers having issues with streaming over their platform. Dropouts and buffering reported. So considering that live streaming has traditionally been something that has been difficult to do well, it seems that TV2 are well placed to capitalise on this opportunity with Indosat. I currently feel more comfortable with my investment here than I have previously.
