If God had only wanted children He would not have created beings obliged to grow.

I think you place a narrow literal meaning on what Jesus was conveying by "become as little children" without understanding to whom he was speaking and what he was asking them to consider.

"1 Corinthians 13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things."

Now we ought to be more concerned with understanding what it means to grow and mature.

If you hope to follow Jesus, then consider his example.
Luke 2:40
"And the Child grew and became strong. He was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon Him."

"And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man."

Do you know, some of the points you mention, as in you may think I have become obsessed with my project, that,..... "I" have had that thought, over and over.
Early on, I smelt a HUGE and I mean huge RAT, I don't know how why (do now), but I just did.
The mention of,... by many on here, how come we have all the different faiths, one Book, one set of words = very good point, as from my early readings that I did, if your going to follow, believe in it, "THAT", in no way should be the case = NO WAY = Ding Dong, something is wrong and it's NOT Gods'.
Then concern for others kicked in.
However, NO one wants to listen, so OK then, I will grab miles and miles of evidence and I will show them, and then,...there is no way they can say my findings are wrong, if I stick to the Bible.

There are other meaning to what Jesus was using the child example for, but the above is also VERY relevant as well, and this I know with certainty, by the testing etc, that I have been doing on here.
So the message here is, you need to empty your brain on what YOU think or what you have been led to think and become the child, read the Bible for what "IT" actually says, as in Jesus says, My Father and your Father and My God and your God.
