Just to clarify my earlier post.

First of all, I am not a "downramper". I am an investor like many people on Hotcopper looking for good opportunities to make money for my and my family's future.

LKE was (and maybe still is) such an opportunity. I may buy it again hence my interest and me watching it closely. How many current holders here have been to an AGM. Well I have - which goes to show how serious I was about my initial investment which for the moment is cashed in.

I do not wish to see the SP go down even further. In fact, I'd like to see it go up. But I'm still not sure of the following;

1. The results of Kachi. This is a huge system and there is plenty of land for brine ponds. I'm just not sure about the grade they have found, the impurities and the promise or assumption of better grades at depth. At this stage the grade looks a little low (half the grade of the majors or less), but it may well be economical in time with the right technology.

2. Cauchari / Olaroz - this is where I think the action is at as there is no doubt in my mind that LKE can access the same high grade aquifers that ORE / SQM (from memory) are developing right next door. But do LKE have enough flat ground to build ponds and infrastructure??. I'm not sure. But maybe one of the majors will take LKE out later on due to their potential nuisance value??.

I think the broader market is a little like me - waiting for more information before forming an opinion on Kachi. For those brave enough to hold, there may be a cracking announcement and a gap up if they do indeed find much better grades deeper down. But I'm happy to sit on the sidelines for now and watch - which I decided to do from about 20 cents.
