If this company is sooooooooooo great then I would think that an offer from one of the 'big boys' out there at some multiple of current share price would eventuate.
Even at $1 billion in cost the price would be a 'drop in the bucket' for them and many thrwo billions away on failed M & A transactions every year anyway.
