According to various sources and information I managed to obtain

1. A few people in Optus, particularly their Technical Product Manager responsible for their OTT platform, know about TV2U and other platforms.

2. Their OTT platform is not the issue.
- Their biggest problem is network capacity overload.
- The number of simultaneous logon before a match starts are also causing the subscriber verification app to overload and try to recover, this has the same effect as a DDoS.
- Some of the issues are also coming from customers using the Optus Sports app on the Telstra and Vodafone networks !!!

3. Optus' OTT platform is provided by Vimond Media Solutions. www.vimond.com.
The Optus platform was installed in 2016 and performed well since. They have been transmitting the English Premier League matches and other sporting events without any problem.
Vimond is a Norwegian OTT platform supplier and been in business since 2011.
They provide streaming platforms to Fox Sports, Comcast xfinity, MTV, iflix, and Reuters among others. Their are experienced is streaming sporting events.

I am not sure calling Charlie Sukkar suggesting he fixes something that isn't the problem will be helpful. It may even backfire. You don't go to a person putting out a fire in his house and ask him if he wants to buy new furniture. Even if the platform was the issue, they will not replace it in the middle of the World Cup. There is a proper time to go see them and explore opportunities.
