Attacks of this type are extremely difficult to prevent in that they're isolated and seemingly random. I doubt perpetrators confide in anyone what they're planning. They're also quite rare. There's more chance of dealing with domestic violence in otherwise normal homes than this kind of attack. While any murder is tragic women are not being murdered in large numbers.
