I assume you are male? Again if you could see it from their perspective you might have more empathy. I know I'll never be able to see it from their perspective, but I do recognise that there is a problem. If there was no problem there would be no outrage.
Your response in a nutshell is the "not all men" response. You are correct, not all men are rapists.
I'm not sure if people are really understanding that women are not accusing all men of being rapists.
They are pleading for us as men, who have influence over other men, to change their attitudes towards women, so that these "outliers" are prevented from developing thoughts and attitudes that lead to sexual violence.
